Chris M. Jasmine - Founding President
Chris is one of the Co-founders of TAN. As a 6th generation Nevadan he loves all aspects of the great State of Nevada especially its hunting heritage on public land. He works as a Rangeland Ecologist for a large mining company and oversees conservation and mitigation on ranches that the company owns and operates in Northern Nevada. Chris’s archery adventure started over 20 years ago and he bought his first traditional bow when he met his wife Jaime. Chris loves to shoot 3-d’s as much as he loves to hunt. He has competed in 3-d shoots from Colorado to California and has hunted with a tradbow in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Alaska.
He is married to a wonderful wife, Jaime, who is also a traditional archer of 22 years. Chris and Jaime have two kids who both also love shooting their trad bows. For their family shooting bows is part of the fabric that makes up the family unit.
Tom Huebner - Founding Board Member
Tom Huebner is a Co-Founder of TAN. Having the good fortune of growing up in a hunting family, he has been fascinated by bowhunting since age 3. Tom has bowhunted for over 30 years and has hunted primarily with traditional archery equipment for the last 19 years. Tom has hunted in multiple states and has harvested pronghorn antelope, mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, moose, mountain goat, and brown bear with recurves or longbows. His philosophy on bowhunting is; any animal harvested ethically with a stick and string is truly a trophy and should be measured by the experience of closing with the animal and making it happen. Tom has been a Nevada resident for 10 years and lives with his wife and daughter in Elko.
Cody Butler - Founding Board Member
Cody Butler is a Co-Founder of TAN. Cody began his traditional archery quest in the spring of 2015 with help from a close friend/mentor. He killed his first big game animal with traditional archery equipment in December of 2016 and continues to hunt Nevada, Utah, and Idaho regularly. When Cody’s not utilizing traditional archery equipment for hunting, you can find him enjoying 3D archery tournaments, shooting at the range, and promoting traditional archery to close friends and family. Cody lives in Elko with his wife and two young children.
Tom Donham - Founding Vice President
A native Nevadan, Tom has hunted, fished, trapped and generally “kicked around” about every corner of the Silver State in his 50+ years. He began shooting a bow at an early age and experienced his first (unsuccessful) bow hunt for mule deer at 13. While he does do some hunting with other types of weapons, he primarily hunts with a traditional bow. Although he has a ball pursuing game, Tom enjoys simply shooting his trad bow as much or more than hunting with it. He converted from a compound to a single string bow some 20+ years ago and hasn’t looked back.
Growing up in the Nevada outdoors led Tom to a long and rewarding career with the Nevada Department of Wildlife, primarily working in the Game Division. He spent the largest part of his career as a field biologist in central Nevada but is currently serving as NDOW’s Eastern Region Game Division Supervisor in Elko, Nevada.
Tom and his wife of nearly 25 years, Michelle, have two beautiful daughters, Megan (22) and Amie (17), both of whom enjoy the outdoors and slinging a few arrows.
